Providing strategic support in a variety of areas, including value chain development and upgrading of strategies, improving access to agricultural inputs, agricultural expansion, and marketing;
Support project leadership in targeted agricultural-related program activities;
Support project leadership in ensuring adequate communication with local, public sector stakeholders, potential investors, private sector, donors and development partners, including cooperatives, cooperatives, agricultural producers, agricultural processors, and wholesalers;
Lead the Agency Program’s Tomato Value Chain Project;
Capacity building training to assist in agricultural land development;
Develop an annual action plan and annual action plan (AWP) for the implementation of the project and budget for these sub-components;
Supports leadership efforts in research, business plan development, and report writing;
Support the development and implementation of a clear strategy to attract investment in agribusiness across relevant value chains;
To provide training and advice to the youth in agricultural programs
Report outline of physical progress and results according to projects and any other helpful/helpful monitoring process;
Providing key administrative support for executive office coordination and project leadership;
Perform other responsibilities that may be required.
Master’s in Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or any other related discipline with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing related roles.
