Work responsibilities

Act as a driver in a team of security personnel responsible for transporting passengers in situations of increased security threats and situations


Transportation of as many different staff members as needed and as much as possible within the confines of the AOO.


Personally responsible for the safety and security of all passengers


Must have practical knowledge of safety policies and procedures for AAWs, especially in the case of personnel transportation.


Strictly follow all safety rules and regulations at all times


Planning of routes in conjunction with Security Units to ensure the safety of passengers


Maintain close contact with security units ensuring detailed knowledge of the safest routes within the AOO.


Ensure that the designated vehicle is fully operational and fully available with a list of all necessary communications and emergency equipment and their designated vehicles such as first aid kits, firefighters, serviceable readily available and tightly secured extra wheels, wheel replacement kits, extra keys, torches, extras Water, jumper wire and tow rope;


Maintain a vehicle logbook for daily travel and record mileage and fuel consumption for each vehicle.


Ensure that specific vehicles are regularly maintained in accordance with the service record of each vehicle and when required.


Ensure that certain vehicles are in good operating condition: Daily checks (oil, fuel, brakes, wheels, batteries, equipment kits, etc.) on all scheduled vehicles and before departure/mission, and report any defects to the admin officer for prompt repair and maintenance


Ability to perform minor mechanical emergency repairs on vehicles if required,


Maintain close contact with the security liaison officer or team leader during all movements;


Assist the Security Liaison Officer or Team Leader to complete effective safety coverage for their designated superintendents and always be alert and vigilant in the discharge of duties and receive training in case of deficiencies to meet a high level of efficiency;


Maintain strategic operational procedures, contingency plans for emergencies and road traffic maintenance and participate in team training;


Be sure to prepare for quick deployment at any time


Operational procedures depend on the implementation and operational environment and comply with all national traffic regulations and operate in accordance with traffic and traffic safety regulations;


Assist the security unit in carrying out its responsibilities wherever and where necessary.


Assist with standard driver charges if needed


Perform other tasks required by the safety unit.


Contact toilet management and be responsible for day-to-day basic maintenance.


Familiarize yourself with defensive driving skills (through training or previous work knowledge)


Perform the protocol as an assistant when needed.


Perform other safety-related responsibilities as needed.
