Shell LiveWIRE Programme 2020: The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC), operator of the NNPC / Shell / Total / Agip Joint Venture announces the commencement of the 2020 SPDC JV Regional LiveWIRE Nigeria Programme. Therefore, they have invited applications from qualified candidates to join this Programme.

About the Programme
LiveWire is a youth initiative Programme supported by Nigeria SPDC JV. The goal of the Programme is to inspire, encourage, and support young people aged 18-35 to start their own businesses.
The purpose of the Programme
The objectives of the LiveWIRE Programme are:
Enable young people to establish a business through their interaction with business planning and management directions and skills through the “Successful Business Owner Course”.
Provide a business start-up grant for candidates with the best business plan.
Connect successful candidates with third parties such as financial institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Provide volunteer counsellors for successful candidates.
The content of the Programme
From:
Pre-Start Up: – Value and Organize Yourself (VOY)
Bright idea workshop
Business planning and management (become a successful business owner)
Quality Discipline Workshop
Starting a business (how to access finance and technology)
Post Startup (Mentoring and Market Linkage)
Eligibility for application
Male and female applicants in the field (South-South)
Must have a university degree or HND in any subject
Completed NYSC in mandatory parentheses.
They must be residents of the local state;
Should not be in paid employment
Must be a new business idea.
Must own and manage a business.
The application end date is 2020 20 November.

Important notice
Applicants must complete the “Candidate Assessment” form and evaluate it before being accepted into the Programme as this is a condition for applying for any other Shell Liveware Programme in Nigeria.
Trainers must complete the “Trainer Evaluation” form and must evaluate it before being accepted into the Programme as it is a condition of applying for any other Shell Liveware Programme in Nigeria.
